Falls Prevention & Exercise Classes

Open to residents of Woodland Towers, Hamlet Estates and members of the Community. Woodland towers offers exercise programs designed specifically for Older Adults and those suffering from chronic health conditions. Our programs accommodate a wide variety of functional abilities and give you the tools and education you need to prevent falls and age at home.

Stay Fit:

Designed to support improvement for those with limited mobility. Classes are primarily seated with standing components as tolerated. Classes are 45 minutes in length.

  • This class is offered both Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:15 a.m.

Gentle Group Exercise

Designed for those with a moderate level of ability. This class is a mix of both standing and seated components to help strengthen your muscles to help you with your daily activities.  Classes are 1 hour in length.

  • This class is offered both Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m.

Combined Fitness

Designed for those with a moderate to vigorous level of ability. This class combines aerobics, strength training, flexibility and balance exercises  Classes are 1 hour in length.

  • This class is offered both Mondays at 1:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 10:15 a.m.

Balance:

For those with a moderate to vigorous level of ability. This class includes cardio and strength with a focus on balance exercises. Classes are 1 hour in length.

  • This class is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.

Men's Strength:

Strength training class just for men. Classes are 45 minutes in length.

  • This class is offered Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.
