Committees and Councils
Residents of Woodland Towers can voluntarily join the following councils and committees:
- Woodland Towers Resident Council: The Residents Council is an advisory body that comments and provides advice to the management and staff of Spruce Lodge, about how programs and services are being received, and how they can be improved upon.
- Woodland Towers Store Committee: The Store Committee oversees the operations of the Woodland Towers corner store. This committee is comprised of resident volunteers and staff that together manage the day to day operations and volunteer coordination for the Corner Store.
- We are always looking for new volunteers on our Store Committee or as Store Clerks at the Corner Store. For many of our volunteers, this is a commitment of 2 hours a month. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Karen Goforth, Volunteer Coordinator.
Newsletter (The Woodpecker)
The Woodland Tower's newsletter, The Woodpecker, is written by residents for residents, and is distributed monthly door-to-door.
